THE BIG PICTURE

The U.S. is predicted to add over 210,000 new MSN nursing practitioner jobs by 2026. Increased emphasis on preventive and patient care, growing rates of chronic conditions (such as diabetes and obesity), and demand for healthcare services from the aging baby boomer population mean that demand for nursing is growing dramatically.
