The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) houses a vast array of major and minor programs of study designed to prepare students for a host of careers. Based on an innovative liberal arts foundation, each of our over thirty majors provides individualized and inquiry-based learning, flexible approaches to study, internships and collaborative faculty-student mentoring.

Our MissionThe mission of the College of Arts and Sciences is to support the general and specialized core curricular needs of the University at large, as well as to field a select number of academic majors and professional programs in its own right.
