Doctor of Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are “movement specialists” who aim to prevent the onset or slow the progression of conditions resulting from injury, disease and other causes. As a physical therapist, you’ll work with clients to reduce pain, increase mobility and improve function. As a student, you will learn to assess joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, function of heart and lungs and performance of activities required in daily living.
