Victor Kizer
Victor Kizer

Victor Kizer serves as the Program Director for Maryville University’s Exercise Science program where he is responsible for curriculum development, program partnerships, Maryville’s Human Performance Lab, and the overall Exercise Science student’s experience.

Victor is currently finishing his dissertation as per the requirements of the Doctorate of Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Health Science in Health Promotion & Wellness while also taking several courses in the Human & Sport Performance concentration.  His doctoral research program emphasized the use of resistance training for decreasing the severity of PTSD symptoms.  He holds an M.S. degree in Fitness Management and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Missouri Baptist University.

Victor is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist w/ Distinction and was recently appointed as the Missouri State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  His applied research endeavors are in Human & Sports Performance, Occupational Preparedness, and Tactical Strength & Conditioning.

Victor consults with the St. Louis Blues Strength & conditioning staff has taught at the United States Army’s Master Fitness Trainer Course and previously co-owned Defining Natural Ability, a private training gym in St. Louis, MO.  He has a decade of professional experience coaching and consulting with youth, collegiate, recreational, and tactical athletes.

Ramsey Nijem
Ramsey Nijem

Ramsey Nijem serves as the Head Performance and Strength Coach for the Sacramento Kings where he is responsible for all aspects of sport performance including strength and conditioning, sport science, and nutrition. Prior to joining the Sacramento Kings, Nijem spent time as a strength and conditioning coach at Santa Barbara City College and the University of California Santa Barbara, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

Ramsey earned his M.S. from the Center for Sport Performance at California State University, Fullerton and recently completed a Doctor of Science studying Human and Sport Performance researching the relationship between workloads and injury in elite athletes.

Brett Winchester
Brett Winchester

Dr. Brett Winchester lectures throughout the world, teaching his functional approach to patient care.  Combining manual therapy, including joint manipulation and neuromuscular stabilization, with therapeutic exercise, Dr. Winchester effectively treats functional pathologies and acts as a catalyst for patients working to enhance their performance.

Dr. Winchester is the founder of Winchester Spine & Sport located outside St. Louis, Missouri.  His current appointments include:
– St. Louis Cardinals Team Chiropractor
– Advanced biomechanics course instructor at Logan College of Chiropractic
– Instructor and board member for the Motion Palpation Institute
– Chiropractic Rehabilitation Diplomate instructor
– Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization instructor trained by Pavel Kolar
– Gestalt Performance (owner)

Dr. Winchester’s published research includes topics such as offering a multidisciplinary approach for treatment of the pregnant population and foot dysfunction.  Various chiropractic journals have also featured Dr. Winchester for his patient-driven treatment model.  He also has authored two chapters for textbooks.

Dr. Winchester enjoys treating professional and collegiate athletes and has gained a reputation for his sports medicine background.  His expertise has placed him at the forefront of the ulnar collateral ligament rupture epidemic in professional baseball pitchers, providing insights into causation and effective treatment protocols.  Still, his passion remains with diagnosing and treating the ailments of a diverse patient population with conservative-based protocols.

Tyler White
Tyler White

Dr. Tyler White is a chiropractor that specializes in analyzing human movement, specifically pitching biomechanics and treating the injured thrower.  Dr. White’s passion for working with the baseball community began when he received a career-ending injury in college baseball. Since then, Dr. White has devoted his career to continue researching the ever-developing literature on baseball biomechanics and human movement to better serve the baseball community and prevent others from injury.

Dr. White works with throwers varying in level of experience. He has trained and consulted throwers from the youth level on up to the major leaguers.  Dr. White also lectures on pitching biomechanics and the use of technology in baseball as well as increasing human performance.

Dr. White is the Co-Founder of Gestalt Performance, a rehabilitation and performance company that specializes in throwing athletes.

Dane Bartz
Dane Bartz

Dane Bartz is the Owner and Director of Coaching at Linked Fit in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Bartz holds a bachelors and master’s degree in Exercise Science. Currently, he is studying for a PhD in Human & Sport Performance at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

His professional experiences include working at private-sector facilities to large corporate companies such as EXOS & Google. His programming capabilities include elite collegiate athletes, general population to special population clients.

Dane loves researching different restorative methods that can be utilized in training to recover and regenerate the mind and body. He holds a variety of certifications from leading organizations such as NSCA, NASM, ACSM, and USAW.

Daniel Viscovich

Daniel currently works as a part-time Performance Trainer for EXOS at the Google offices in San Francisco. He is also currently pursuing a PhD in Health Promotion and Wellness from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. Prior to moving to San Francisco, Daniel worked as a Performance Coach at the Google offices in Venice Beach, CA.

Daniel holds a Master’s of Arts in Sport Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach. While attending CSULB, Daniel worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Kinesiology department and as a management intern for the Center for Sport Training and Research.

Daniel’s current research interests involve wellness coaching and the integration of positive psychology practices for improving wellness and well-being.

Kelsie Eversmeyer
Kelsie Eversmeyer

Kelsie is an adventurous spirit with a passion for people and personal growth. During her last semester of college, she found herself in Victor Kizer’s intro to exercise science class and began skipping business classes to dive into her interest in learning and applying all things health and wellness.

Upon graduating, she started working at local gyms and decided she would put her business degree to work in the fitness industry by growing her own coaching brand, Kelsie Jene Fitness.

In two short years, she has worked with dance teams, has served over 250 clients, and now serves on the academic board for exercise science at her alumni university, Maryville University.

Future endeavors involve a spread of continuing education and starting a nonprofit to help women rescued from sex trafficking regain their confidence, strength, and power through weightlifting.

When she isn’t coaching and running her business, Kelsie enjoys playing music, dancing, traveling and trying new food joints.

Eric Renaghan

Eric Renaghan was named the Head of Strength and Conditioning for the St. Louis Blues (NHL) in 2016. Prior to his position with the Blues, he held the title of assistant S&C coach for the Vancouver Canucks.

Eric is currently completing his graduate studies in biomechanics at Lindenwood University. His main interest is in neuro-mechanics and movement expression as it relates to sport performance.

Rick Howard
Rick Howard

Rick Howard is a doctoral candidate at Rocky Mountain University in Health Promotion and Wellness. He is an Assistant Professor in Applied Sports Science at West Chester University (PA). Howard is the Director of Fitness at Wilmington (DE) Country Club, where he trains youth in fitness and sports performance. He organizes and co-leads LTAD Summits and Playgrounds nationwide, which bring local, grassroots individuals together to learn, share, and develop action and accountability plans for cradle-to-grave implementation of LTAD.

He contributes articles regularly on long-term athletic development (LTAD) and the application of concepts of pediatric exercise science for coaches, personal trainers, physical education teachers, and those who wish to improve the lives of our young people.

Rick is a Masters Strongman competitor.

Brett Bartholomew
Brett Bartholomew

Brett Bartholomew is a strength and conditioning coach, author, consultant, and Founder of the performance coaching and consulting company, The Bridge Human Performance®. His experience includes working with athletes both in the team environment and private sector along with members of the United States Special Forces and members of Fortune 500 companies.

Taken together, Brett has coached a diverse range of athletes from across 23 sports worldwide, at levels ranging from youth athletes to Olympians. He’s supported numerous Super Bowl and World Series Champions, along with several professional fighters in both professional boxing as well as the UFC.

From a philanthropic standpoint, Brett serves as the Vice President for the non-profit organization Movement2Be, which serves youth in underprivileged communities through helping them learn more about physical activity and proper movement, and was awarded Kansas State University’s “Entrepreneur Award” in 2017 for his contributions to community affairs, organizations and service groups along with supporting K-State’s College of Human Ecology.

Andy Galpin
Andy Galpin

Dr. Galpin is an associate professor of strength and conditioning, the director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Lab, and the co-director of the Center for Sport Performance at California State University, Fullerton.

Dr. Galpin teaches and performs research in the areas of human performance, muscle physiology, and nutrition. Lee Taft
Lee Taft

Lee Daft , known to most simply as “The Speed Guy”, is highly respected as an athletic movement specialist. The last 29 years he has devoted the majority of his time training multi-directional speed to all ages and ability. He has spent much of this time teaching his multi-directional speed methods to top performance coaches and fitness professionals all over the world. Lee has also dedicated countless hours mentoring up-and-coming sports performance trainers, many who have gone into the profession and made a big impact themselves.

His innovated approach to training has impacted how many coaches teach athletic movement. Lee brought to light the importance and fine points of the innate quality of repositioning- “Plyo Step”, “Hip Turn”, “Directional Step” and connection to fight or flight. According to Lee, “Speed and agility done right is about making sure we marry the natural movements athletes have with the effective and efficient body control to maximize speed and quickness”.

Brent Alvar
Brent Alvar

Dr. Alvar is a Professor at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California.  He is also the Co-Director of the Master of Science in Kinesiology Program – Sport Performance concentration.

Dr. Alvar’s research focus is in the area of physical activity related to human performance, occupational preparedness (sports, firefighting,  military, and police) and health-related benefits from resistance training.  He recently was a co-editor in the National Strength and Conditioning Associations textbook:  Essentials of Tactical Strength and Conditioning (Human Kinetics publisher).
