Highlights From the 2024
Maryville University Scholarship
Dinner: April 17, 2024

On April 17, 2024, nearly 100 scholarship donors and student recipients gathered at a special dinner on the Maryville University campus. It was a special opportunity for them to meet one another, and celebrate the special bonds between them. Scholarships have the power to change lives, and bring immense satisfaction to those who give as well as those who benefit. At this annual event, we have the opportunity to honor these special relationships. Because of our generous scholarship sponsors, Maryville students are not only succeeding—they are opening doors to future careers and experiences they may never have imagined.

Laraine Davis, Vice President for Community and Government Relations

For every scholarship awarded, there is a story behind it—about students whose lives have been impacted, and about those who have invested in their futures.

Whether you are a current donor, a student recipient, or simply a visitor to these pages, we invite you to explore the stories and photos from this memorable event.

Please take a moment to see and hear from some of our speakers, including students Kailey Bies, ’24, and Braden Johnson, ’23, ’25; as well as longtime Maryville trustee and scholarship sponsor, Norman Eaker. Browse through our donor and scholarship listings. Scroll through the photo gallery. And be sure to view messages from Maryville’s president, Dr. Mark Lombardi, and vice president for government and community relations, Laraine Davis.
