Rehabilitation Counseling – Careers

What Can I Do With A Rehabilitation Counseling Degree?

A master’s degree is required for entry-level employment. Graduates are eligible to take the Missouri counseling licensure exam and the national Rehabilitation Counselor certification exam. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook is strong, with 20 percent growth anticipated by 2022, which is faster than the average of all occupations. An aging population and the continued health needs of other groups, such as veterans and people with disabilities, account in part for the projected job growth.
