How much does it cost?

Homecoming is FREE except for Reunion Class Dinners ($35 per person).

Who can attend?

We extend a warm welcome to all our Maryville University students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and their families for Homecoming 2022! We have taken great care to offer a variety of fun-filled activities for adults and families alike. Check out the event schedule!

What if I have special accommodations?

What should I wear?

The nature of the different events during Homecoming determines the type of attire. When in doubt, business casual attire is appropriate for almost all Homecoming events. The Sunday Tailgate will be more casual.

How do I get to campus?

Is accessible parking available?

Accessible parking is available in Lot 10 at the Donius University Center, Lot 11 at Simon Athletic Center, and Lots 4 and 5 at Gander Hall.


Is it necessary to register for the Homecoming activities I plan to attend?

Registration is preferred for all events and is required for some events. Please be sure to check the event description for registration details. Click here to register.

Will I receive an event registration confirmation?

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation after registering. However, be sure to mark your calendar for each of the events for which you’ve registered!

Where is check-in located?

Most events will have check-in on site. Check the schedule for each event’s location.


Can I bring my own food?

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy while you tailgate. Alcohol and outside caterers are not permitted. There will be Kona Ice and Doggie Mac’s food trucks for individuals to purchase food. You can also pre-order packaged tailgate menus from our on-site caterer Fresh Ideas, orders are due Friday, September 16.

Can I bring a grill?

Yes, however please follow our guidelines. Grills must be at least 10 feet from a building. Grills cannot be under a roof or where smoke can enter a building. Grills are the responsibility of a single person throughout the event and a fire extinguisher must be within reach of the person attending the grill. Coal and ash must be disposed of in identified areas, only when residue is cold. No accelerants will be used to ignite charcoal⁠—use only self-starting charcoal. Never attempt to relocate a grill once it has been lit or still hot.

What time can we arrive to set up for the tailgate?

We will open the parking spots at 10 a.m., 2 hours prior to the start of the first soccer game. Spots are on a first come, first serve basis. You must have your registration email confirmation to gain access to the tailgating spots.

How many spots do I get?

We will reserve 2 spots per reservation. In essence, a spot for your car and a spot next to it to set out chairs and tables.

Can I bring a tent?

Yes, no larger than a 10×10 pop up tent and you must provide weights to keep it weighted down.

Are tables and chairs available?

No, you will need to bring all of your own tables and chairs.

How many people per reservation?

We ask that you keep your parties to 10 people.
