Door Decorating Contest (Doors due on September 20)

Calling all faculty and staff! Show off your Maryville pride and Homecoming spirit in our very first door decorating contest! Complete your masterpiece with the theme “Maryville World Tour” by September 20 at 11:59 p.m. for a chance to win a prize. Judging will take place from September 23–29. Chalk the Walk | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. CT

Show your Maryville pride and reserve a sidewalk square to decorate with chalk! This is an event for all to get creative and show off their Maryville Spirit! Reserve your sidewalk square by coming to the Spirit Rock, and we’ll provide the chalk. Squares will be judged by a panel of judges and prizes given out for the top decorated chalked squares.

The Biggest Kickoff Ever! and Goosecup Cornhole Tournament | 4-5:30 p.m. CT

Sign up for our annual Homecoming Goosecup Cornhole Tournament hosted by the Campus Activities Board. Team up with a fellow Maryville Saint for this Faculty/Staff/Alumni vs Students Goosecup Tournament! Teams will be comprised of 2 people per team. Join the students in celebrating the start of Homecoming Week and kickoff our Maryville World Tour. The Donius University Center Quad will be full of Maryville Spirit, traditions and activities to participate in! Join HEROES and SAM in the Library Quad to celebrate a happy and healthy Homecoming.

This is a competition you don’t want to miss! Student teams will compete in a lip sync performance to a choice of their song(s). A panel of faculty/staff judges determines the lip sync winner based on lip sync ability, choreography, creativity, crowd appeal and adherence to this year’s theme: Maryville World Tour! Faculty and Staff are welcome to participate and join the Faculty/Staff Exhibition Team. Stay tuned for the announcement of a CELEBRITY EMCEE!

Join us for an exciting Homecoming Tailgate filled with fun activities for everyone! Enjoy delicious bites from food trucks, engage in yard games, face painting and visit the spirit station to make signs and show your team pride. Cheer on the Saints as they face University of Missouri-St. Louis. Women’s Soccer team will play at noon, and the Men’s Soccer team will play at 2:30 p.m. Tailgating spaces do not need to be reserved, but a space will be available to set up your tailgate.
