How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at https://getinvolvedmu.maryville.edu/submitter/form/start/637524. This is REQUIRED for all participants.

LSS Hylton Point II: Music FunVolunteers will bring your instrument (e.g., guitar, keyboard, voice). Arrive 15 minutes early to set up and coordinate with fellow performers. Perform for the residents, sharing your musical talents. Residents will enjoy a variety of musical performances. Maryville University-Kids Rock Cancer: Melodies & MessagesVolunteers will be asked to assemble goodie bags for Kids Rock Cancer participants, make inspirational cards for participants, write 'thank you' notes to Kids Rock Cancer donors, and make inspiring social media posts for the Kids Rock Cancer Facebook page.10:00-12:000/20
Maryville University: Holiday Cards 4 Our MilitaryVolunteers will create Thank You cards to send to our Troops, Veterans, and military families all around the world. 09:00-17:000/20
Midtown Community Services: Garden BeautificationVolunteers will help in our community garden with clearing the vines/shrubs that grow along the fences, redistributing wood chips along the walking paths, planting perennial flowers for the next year, and planting cover crops on the beds that are no longer growing vegetables.09:30-15:000/12
MO Rabbit House Rescue: Shelter CleanVolunteers will be cleaning specific areas, power washing crates and cage carts, helping spruce up outside if weather is cooperative, down to brushing bunnies and giving them some attention when most of the work items have been completed.10:00-15:000/20
Nurses for Newborns: Donation PreparationVolunteers will be sorting and matching clothes, bagging diapers, dating food, sanitizing toys and books, checking and cleaning baby equipment and toys.13:00-15:300/10
