#10. Bethesda Meadow | We would like to do a "car wash" for wheel chairs. This will be a fun, outside event, with water bottles and snacks available for residents and volunteers. Bethesda Meadow Staff will assist those residents to the front patio on the "transfer list", those who can transfer from their wheel chair to the benches/chairs. We will have three car wash stations. STATION #1 PAD CLEANING: Remove pads, and wipe them down with a mild cleaner. Spray with neutralizing spray (this will be provided by Bethesda). STATION #2 CAR WASH: Spray off wheel chair, seat, and wheels with a hose or power washer. Use bucket of water and cleaner to wipe down frame, seat, and wheels to remove any additional dirt. STATION #3 DRYING: Finally, towel dry. and replace the pad in the proper wheel chair. Staff will help residents back into their clean wheel chairs, and transport back to their rooms. Staff will also bring some empty wheel chairs down to go through the "car wash". | 9:30 am-11:30 am | Darriyon Romany | 5/8 |

#103. Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas | Since we have moved our office to a remote office, we have maintained a storage unit to house our event supplies and other office items. We have several boxes (bank box size) of documents that need to be moved out of the unit and taken to a shredding facility. In general, we need to do a thorough clean out and re-organization of the space. | 9:30 am-Noon | Veronica Petrinec | 7/7 |
#104. Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center | We house a large number of cats (200-250). To do this well requires a lot of organization, cleaning, and of course socializing with the kitties. We would ask the volunteers to help with all three elements. The organizing and cleaning tasks could include scooping litter, sweeping, cleaning carriers, folding laundry, sorting toys, organizing shelves, wiping down surfaces, etc. The cat play may be in a room with a group of cats, or one on one with a kitty in a socialization space. The kitties love visitors! | 9:30 am-Noon | Gabriella Colberg Borrero | 9/9 |
