How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at https://getinvolvedmu.maryville.edu/submitter/form/start/637524. This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Forest ReLeaf of MO: Park Place MulchingVolunteers will help tackle a parkwide mulching project to weed and refresh the mulch around the base of these trees. This will help with weed prevention, water retention, and above all, serve as a visual reminder to the surrounding community that this park is cared for and valued.10:00-12:000/40

Franklin County Humane Society: Volunteer DayVolunteers can support our animals by taking dogs on long walks or filling KONG toys to be used for dog enrichment. For those who love cats, spending time brushing, playing with, and comforting our shy feline friends helps them feel more relaxed and socialized. Outdoor activities include weeding, cleaning play yards, raking leaves, and clearing debris from the catch basin that collects street runoff. Additionally, volunteers can assist with organizing and inventorying donated supplies or help assemble basic care kits for our Doggy Day Out program.09:00-14:000/15
Girl Scouts of Eastern MissouriVolunteers will be assisting the Daisy Drop Box and Brownie Bundle Program Managers by creating SWAPS (stands for Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere) SWAPS are small, handmade keepsakes that Girl Scouts exchange with each other as a way to make new friends and create lasting memories. These SWAPS will go in troop meeting boxes that get shipped out to Daisy and Brownie troop leaders. Volunteers will be doing tasks like counting, cutting, tying, sorting, etc.10:00-15:000/20

HavenHouse St. Louis – Comfort & Care Meal ProgramCome in and help us cook/prepare meals for the families that are staying with us at Haven House St. Louis. 10:00am-1:00pm0/11
Humanitri: Home BeautificationVolunteers will help with yardwork, painting, and/or minor repairs so our families can enjoy their new homes.10:00-14:000/5
Hylton Point Apartments LSS: Bingo & Nail PaintingVolunteers will aid in student led low impact chair exercise with music for fun. Nail painting-residents will have their hand/foot nails cleaned and filed and students will paint. Fall and balance screening-students will conduct fall and balance screening with exercises for improvement or strengthening.10:30-12:000/8
Jewish Community Center: Outdoor BeautificationVolunteers will help beautify the early childhood playground as well as fix or throw away damage down from the recent tornado.10:00-12:000/10
