Business Administration
Maryville’s business administration program is designed to maximize your flexibility in the working world – our way of giving you an upper hand. In any job that you enter – regardless of the organization’s profit status, government relations or area of expertise – business processes are likely to play a major role. Artists have to communicate with galleries to display their work. Social workers have to negotiate with lawyers. Finance managers have to make sure the budget is in check. Local, national and global economies revolve around business.
The business administration major is an ideal program for a student to lay the groundwork for an exciting career in whatever industry they choose. Maryville’s in-depth program surveys the field of business and complements a technical or non-business secondary concentration, and can serve as a strong, general knowledge base for a specialist graduate degree.
