Yellow Ribbon Program
The Yellow Ribbon program is designed to help students avoid up to 100 percent of their out-of-pocket tuition and fees associated with education programs that may exceed the Post 9/11 GI Bill tuition benefit.
Army ROTC Program
In partnership with Washington University, host of an Army ROTC Detachment, Maryville offers the Army ROTC Basic and Advanced Training courses to qualified, undergraduate, degree seeking, full-time students of Maryville University who desire to earn appointments as commissioned officers in the United States ArmyAs the primary school, Maryville will provide housing in one of the residence halls on campus on a double-occupancy, space-available basis, along with board for a maximum of four years of undergraduate, full-time study. New freshman or transfer students who are enrolled and have been accepted as cadets in the Army ROTC at Washington University, and who have chosen to receive the federal scholarship covering tuition and fees for this course of study, will receive on campus, dormitory housing. The award is not transferable to other on- or off-campus housing, books or other educational expenses.
Recipients are required to complete the FAFSA process, as well as a dorm contract for each year of study. With both the federal stipend for ROTC and Maryville providing room and board, no other Maryville University funding program will be made available.
