‘Saints Stories’ Oral History Project

The “Saints Stories” Oral History Project is a collection of stories, thoughts and reactions from the Maryville community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as told via oral histories. These stories will be preserved and shared with the Maryville community to react to, and sympathize with, the experiences of their fellow Saints.

Submissions can be made in audio, video, written or other visual formats. All members of the Maryville community including students, staff, faculty, alumni and family members are welcome to participate. Community members are asked to consider the following questions:

  • How has COVID-19 affected you academically, socially and personally?
  • What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a result of COVID-19?
  • How have you learned to cope with the pandemic?
  • What’s the most important thing you want future generations to remember about your experience dealing with COVID-19?
