Maryville Debuts Online Speech-Language Clinic

Maryville University is pleased to announce that we’ve just launched our new online speech-language clinic. Graduate students and highly experienced clinical supervisors provide weekly therapy via HIPAA-protected Zoom sessions. Please note: clinic services are free and open to all ages and individuals across the state of Missouri. All you need is a computer or iPad, webcam, and reliable internet to participate.

If you’ve had difficulty fitting this into your schedule, online may be the way to go – you can now receive services from the comfort of your home. If your insurance company does not cover therapy or the copay is too high for your family’s budget, we can help (note: it’s free!). Finally, individuals living in rural areas with limited access to resources in their own community can now receive much-needed speech-language services.

Our services focus on but are not limited to speech sound delays/disorders, aphasia, oral and written language delays/disorders, literacy difficulties, voice disorders, fluency (stuttering) disorders, autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, and social aspects of language.

If you’re interested in requesting speech services, please complete the intake form linked to below and someone from our clinic office will be in touch with you. And if you know someone who needs services, please pass along a link to this blog post. Thank you!
