Congratulations to our amazing graduates! You have made us proud! We may not be celebrating your accomplishments in person, but we have some special messages to share in honor of you.
While some traditions were taken away from us this year, one special tradition just had to carry on. Thank you Yasmine Gholami for ringing the Maryville Bell to signify the end of an educational journey for more than 2,500 Maryville Saints.
We also have some friends who have special messages for you. The following video includes good wishes from St. Louis leaders like Fox Sports broadcaster Joe Buck; singer/songwriter Brian Owens; St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith; three-time Olympic gold medalist and East St. Louis native Jackie Joyner-Kersee; and St. Louis Blues Hall of Famer Bernie Federko.
“I’d like to give a shoutout to the Maryville grads of 2020,” said Ozzie Smith. “I know we’re going through some tough times right now, but this too shall pass. Remember: work hard, do your best and know that the greatest gift in life is the ability to give back.”
