Coaching Staff


Head Coach Kevin Carroll recently completed his fith season as the head coach at Maryville University. Carroll’s rebuilding job in the nation’s top Division II conference has been evident, as the Saints broke a 30 year old record of wins, finishing the 2012-13 season at 23-9. Maryville also finished 4th overall in the GLVC, and made it to the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.

Prior to coming to Maryville, Carroll served as an assistant coach at the Air Force Academy from 2007—2010. While there, the Falcons qualified for the Mountain West Conference tournament and advanced as far as the quarterfinals each year. Carroll also coached two Mountain West All-Conference selections, three Academic All-Conference honorees and one MWC Defensive Player of the Year.

Carroll got his start in the college ranks while serving as the head assistant coach at the University of Alabama-Huntsville,. One of the top DII programs in the country, Carroll helped the Chargers to an 18 win season and appearance in the Gulf South Conference tournament in 2006-2007.

Prior to moving to the college level, Carroll served as the head coach of St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, Ga. from 2003-2006. His tenure marked the complete rebuilding of a pro-gram while establishing Pius as one of the premier high school programs in the state. His 2006 team reached the state quarterfinals, won only the 2nd regional title in school history and tied a school record for wins in a season.
