SLCO Concert Season Finale


The Saint Louis Chamber Orchestra at Maryville University, under the direction of maestro James Richards, concludes its 2006-2007 season with a concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 15, in the Maryville Auditorium.

The program will consist of works by C.P.E. Bach, Grieg, Sibelius, Diamond and Wolf-Ferrar. The concert also will feature violinist Michelle Godbee (pictured), the 2007 winner of the Young Artist’s Audition, co-sponsored by the St. Louis chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters. Michelle Godbee is the second member of her family to earn the honor. Her older sister, Monica, a cellist, was the 2006 winner of the Young Artist’s Audition.

A “Meet the Artists” reception will follow the concert.
