RCGA Selects Maryville as ‘Top 50’ Award Winner

Maryville University has been selected by the St. Louis Regional Commerce & Growth Association (RCGA) as a recipient of the “Greater St. Louis TOP 50 Businesses Shaping our Future” Award.
The award is given to those institutions, companies and organizations that significantly contribute to the business community and make positive contributions to the community at large.
“Maryville University is pleased to be recognized for our wide-reaching involvement in the St. Louis region,” said President Mark Lombardi, PhD. “We will continue to provide relevant and high-quality programs – such as the St. Louis Speakers Series – and to deepen our professional partnerships with the business community. The more than 16,000 Maryville alumni living and working in the St. Louis region are a testimony to those partnerships.”
The 14th Annual Greater St. Louis Top 50 Awards will be presented during a dinner ceremony on Nov. 18.
Founded in 1872, Maryville University is a four-year, private university located in west St. Louis County. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Colleges in the Masters-Midwest category, Maryville University students may choose from 50 academic programs, including degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Among recent graduates, 82 percent are employed or attending graduate school.
