RCGA names Maryville University a ‘Top 50’ Award Winner

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA) has selected Maryville University as a recipient of the 2012 Greater St. Louis Top 50 Businesses Shaping our Future Award. This marks the fourth consecutive year RCGA has recognized Maryville with this honor.
The award goes to institutions and companies that significantly contribute to the business community and positively affect the region. Maryville President Mark Lombardi said, “We’re proud to be named as one of the `Top 50’ businesses contributing to the future prosperity and growth of the St. Louis area. Maryville educates students for work and life, blending top academics with opportunities to contribute to society.”
Signature Maryville programs include the St. Louis Speakers Series and Maryville Reaches out – a day of service when students are released from classes so they can volunteer across the region.
Maryville received the award at the 17th Annual Greater St. Louis Top 50 Dinner on Monday, Nov. 5. The RCGA and RubinBrown co-sponsor the program. Other sponsors include Ameren Corp., BMO Harris Bank, Edward Jones, Thompson Coburn LLP, KMOX Radio, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, stltoday.com and the St. Louis Business Journal.
