Must See Maryville Scheduled For February 19

2/9/07

ST LOUIS – Prospective students will get an enticing taste of Maryville University at the Must See Maryville event taking place on Monday, Feb. 19, from noon to 5 p.m.

The event is held by the University’s office of admissions three times a year (twice in the fall and once in the spring) and caters to high school students, mostly seniors, who are interested in enrolling at Maryville University, said Shani Lenore, admissions director. “The students receive a campus tour and attend academic sessions in which they meet with faculty in their academic area of interest.”

In addition, there will be student panels in which prospective students can speak to current students and address questions or concerns. There will also be parent panels where prospective parents can direct inquiries to staff members of Maryville’s student support services, such as residential life, student life, and recreation and intramurals.
