Maryville’s ‘Writes of Spring’ Series: J. Bowers

Maryville’s Writes of Spring lecture series showcases works of university faculty. The program was created to establish opportunities for students and the community to hear poets and prose writers in an intimate setting. The last of the series will feature Maryville University’s Jess Bowers, PhD, assistant professor of English. The event will include refreshments, a Q&A session with the author, and book sale and signing.
Bowers’ presentation will showcase her works in the newly published anthology, Among Animals 2. Her short fiction has appeared in: The Portland Review, cream city review, Redivider, Fringe, The Indiana Review, Zone 3, The Poydras Review, Oyez Review, and other journals.
