Maryville University has been named one of America’s Best Colleges in the annual ranking by Forbes, Inc. This ranking places Maryville University in the top 20 percent of American colleges and universities and reflects high student satisfaction, successful alumni, high graduation rates and educational value.

“This recognition reflects a broader recognition of Maryville University’s legacy of providing a quality education, strong mentorships and exceptional leadership opportunities that serve our students long after commencement,” says Mark Lombardi, PhD, president of Maryville University.

Forbes states that the ranking is based on “educational outcomes, not reputations.” The list is calculated using criteria from five categories, including student course and professor evaluations, student retention rates and the amount of debt incurred by students.
