Letter from the President to the Maryville Community
As I have shared with you before, Maryville University has applied to be a COVID-19 vaccination site for our campus community. When approved, our application will allow us to vaccinate faculty, staff and students, but not the general public. Although we are still awaiting approval from the State of Missouri, we are confident we will be approved and are moving forward with plans and preparations to vaccinate our community. Although we are confident, we will be approved as a vaccination site, we do not know when we will be approved or when vaccines will be sent. If you are eligible, please do not wait for Maryville to offer vaccinations. I encourage you to get vaccinated wherever you can as soon as possible.
We are asking faculty, staff and students to complete a pre-registration survey, which will provide important information to prioritize appointment scheduling and gauge interest. Information provided will be confidential and access to survey responses will be limited to those who need the information to coordinate our vaccination program. It’s important to complete the survey whether you plan to receive the vaccine or not, as we will use survey data to inform vaccine dose ordering.
Please complete the COVID-19 vaccine pre-registration survey at your earliest opportunity. Once we receive approval from the State and are notified that we will receive doses, we will begin contacting individuals who pre-registered to schedule appointments based on their eligibility phase.
If you have already received the COVID-19 vaccine, please submit your proof here. You do NOT need to fill out the pre-registration survey.
