Applicants to the MMT program must have a bachelor\u2019s degree and board certification in music therapy.<\/p>\n
Classes are held online in the evening to accommodate your work schedule. Most full-time students complete the program in two academic years; while-part-time students usually take three years.<\/p>\n
Applicants who earned a degree in another area of music and are not board certified, are eligible to apply for the Combined Master\u2019s Equivalency program. Students in this combined program must complete necessary undergraduate coursework for music therapy certification as well as coursework for the master of music therapy degree.<\/p>\n
