RN to BSN Completion – Program Features

Project-Based Learning

The Maryville Nursing program is approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. In addition to providing academic preparation for entry into professional nursing practice through licensure, the Maryville Nursing program also provides the student with the foundation for graduate study. The nursing curriculum prepares students to provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative professional nursing care to individuals of all ages, to families, and to the community. The curriculum meets the needs of beginning students and of students holding RN or LPN licensure.

RN students are accepted each term. Transfer students may apply at any time.

The WEC general education requirements retain the same focus and content but have different course restrictions. Specific WEC major or minor requirements can be found in any WEC office. (See a curriculum planning guide from the program office for proper sequencing of all courses.)
