In 2012, she was the only student in the nation to receive the Actuary of Tomorrow-Stuart A. An award in his name honors members of the Maryville athletic community who exemplify good spirit, stewardship, and service. In 2009, he was inducted into the Maryville University Athletics Hall of Fame. She was educated by Sacred Heart nuns throughout her academic career, and with the assistance of Mother Patricia Barrett she converted to Catholicism while at Maryville. Yuan has commemorated her experience by endowing the Evelyn Yuan Scholarship, awarded annually to an academically gifted Asian student, and supports other major Maryville initiatives. Following her studies in chemistry, Yuan worked in labs for Pfizer and Schering-Plough (now Merck &amp; Co.) pharmaceutical companies, and is now retired.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel13\"><strong>Michael Dragoni, \u201909, \u201913<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel13\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/giving\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2015\/10\/dragoni.jpg\" alt=\"dragoni\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Michael Dragoni, \u201909, \u201913<br \/>\nArt Teacher<br \/>\nBuder Elementary<\/h3>\n<p>Dragoni has a long academic association with Maryville University. He earned his bachelor\u2019s in art education followed by a master\u2019s in educational leadership, and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program in teacher leadership. Dragoni teaches in Maryville\u2019s Summer Science and Robotics program. She serves as vice president of community giving and nonprofit consulting for The Staenberg Group. Morse is also co-owner of The Morse Group with her husband, Stuart Morse, \u201987, where she works to build partnerships between arts organizations and the business community.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel15\"><strong>Crystal E. She is the senior music therapist at SLU Cancer Center. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member at Maryville University in both the music therapy and rehabilitation counseling programs. Weaver also supervises music therapy staff, student volunteers, and music therapy internship students from Maryville University.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel16\"><strong>Mary Pfanstiel Heger, \u201986<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel16\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/giving\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2015\/10\/mhager.jpg\" alt=\"mhager\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Mary Pfanstiel Heger, \u201986<br \/>\nCIO and VP of Information Technology and the Ameren Service Center for Ameren Services<br \/>\nAmeren Corp.<\/h3>\n<p>Heger is chief information officer and vice president of information technology and the Ameren Service Center for Ameren Services, a subsidiary of Ameren Corp. She earned her BS in management at Maryville, and also holds an MBA. Heger is a member of the board of the International Institute, and a former board member of Craft Alliance and SouthSide Early Childhood Center. Heger is a graduate of Leadership St. Louis \u00ae and has been cited as one of the most influential businesswomen in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel18\"><strong>Jenny Bristow, \u201906<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel18\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/giving\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2015\/10\/jdibble.jpg\" alt=\"jdibble\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Jenny Bristow, \u201906<br \/>\nPartner<br \/>\nAnvil Analytics + Insights <\/h3>\n<p>As a full-time student, Bristow earned her BS in e-marketing, while also working full-time. Bristow was named Maryville\u2019s e-marketing Student of the Year in 2006. A 2013 St. Louis Business Journal \u201c30 Under 30\u201d recipient, Bristow built a full-service online marketing agency on the West Coast and then sold it. Later recruited as a marketing manager by Amazon, she worked on strategy and consumer sales before returning to St. Louis to work in digital engagement.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel19\"><strong>Matt Baker, \u201914, \u201915<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel19\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/giving\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2015\/10\/mattbaker.jpg\" alt=\"mattbaker\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Matt Baker, \u201914, \u201915<br \/>\nScience Educator \/ Head Wrestling Coach<br \/>\nShawnee Mission West High School<\/h3>\n<p>Matt Baker is a physics and chemistry teacher at Shawnee Mission West High School in Kansas City, KS. He joined the Saints for two years as an assistant wrestling coach after a successful collegiate career at Maryville. He earned numerous honors and awards as a student-athlete, including becoming Maryville\u2019s first-ever NCAA Division II national champion.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel20\"><strong>Asa Toney, \u201914<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel20\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/giving\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2015\/10\/asatoney.jpg\" alt=\"asatoney\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Asa Toney, \u201914<br \/>\nAssociate Attorney<br \/>\nFarris Bobango<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p> A former student-athlete for Saints basketball, Toney achieved tremendous success both on and off the court, including two first-team All-Conference selections, and finishing the program as the all-time assists leader.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel20\"><strong>Daniel Abebe, \u201997<\/strong><\/a>\n<div id=\"panel20\" class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 25px\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Daniel-Abebe-som-2019-254x300.jpg\" alt=\"Daniel Abebe\" width=\"200\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Daniel Abebe, \u201997<br \/>\nVice Provost<br \/>\nUniversity of Chicago Law School<\/h3>\n<p>Graduating summa cum laude, with the honor of speaking at Commencement, a more seasoned and mature Abebe was on his way to Harvard for his law degree, and eventually to the University of Chicago for a master\u2019s and PhD in political science. Now, he is helping that institution\u2019s law school shape its programming and strategic planning. Looking back warmly at his Maryville experience, and the relationships that helped bring him where he is today, he notes the well-worn adage, \u201cIt takes a village.\u201d\n    <\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item><a class=\"accordion-title\" href=\"#panel20\"><strong>Nicole M.
