Dean Gulas Appointed to State Advisory Commission
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has appointed Charles J. Gulas, dean of the Maryville University School of Health Professions, to the Advisory Commission for Physical Therapists. The commission guides, advises and makes recommendations relevant to the physical therapy profession to the Board of Healing Arts.
Gulas has been appointed for a term ending Oct. 1, 2012, subject to confirmation by the Missouri Senate. As a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist, he has 34 years experience as a licensed physical therapist and maintains a clinical practice.
