November 13th, 12:15-1:30pm in Pritchard: Developing Successful Proposals for Funding and Conference Presentations.

This session will offer some basic and practical strategies and tips for developing proposals that will be funded or accepted for presentation in a variety of venues. This meeting will also offer some specific guidance for those who are thinking about submitting proposals for the FCTL Summer Scholarship Program. Please plan to join us!

January 29th12:15-1:30pm in Pritchard: Summer Scholarship Strategy Session

This session will focus exclusively on writing successful proposals for the Summer Scholarship Program. In the past, there has been a lack of clarity and specificity about what type of projects are “appropriate” for summer funding, and this session will attempt to give specific examples, a list of “do’s” and “don’ts”, and strong encouragement for truly innovative work. Faculty are encouraged to bring drafts of proposals for feedback, prior to the February 18th deadline.
