What Can I Do With An Interactive Design Degree?
Interactive designers are employed in all design, advertising, and marketing related industries, as well as specialized areas such as: user experience, web design, motion graphics, video games, information design, app design and eLearning.
The market demand for interactive designers is growing rapidly. Designers with advanced expertise in designing for emerging media such as websites, apps, and motion graphics are especially valuable as new technologies and forms of communication continue to flourish.
As a graduate of the Interactive Design program at Maryville, you will be well prepared to enter the profession and compete in both the graphic and interactive design markets. Common job titles in the interactive field include:

AIGA Student Chapter
Maryville University has an active and engaged Student AIGA Chapter, the professional association for design. This chapter serves both the Interactive and Graphic Design programs. Students in AIGA have many opportunities to participate in many activities on and off campus targeted toward service, professional networking, portfolio development and learning. Closely linked to the St Louis Professional AIGA Chapter, students also have access to exciting local events, such as the AIGA St. Louis Student Conference and St Louis Design Week.
