Thanks to the Digital World<\/a> initiative, many first-year students come to class with iPads, rather than stacks of textbooks and bulky laptops. Learning to utilize the mobile device as a tool for productive study is an integral part of the student learning process.<\/p>\n

Because an iPad is so much more than Netflix, Maryville\u2019s Apple Corps team, housed in the Division of Student Success<\/a>, helps provide student-to-student training on apps designed to support learning projects and collaborations, and improve study habits.<\/p>\n

Similar to peer tutoring with math or writing, Apple Corps helps students navigate one app or the iPad in general.<\/p>\n

This is no small challenge! There are now more than 140 apps accessible in the Maryville cloud.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Apple Corps team helps students navigate apps being utilized in their particular courses, along with other apps they may find helpful. The trainers also provide \u201cgetting started\u201d basics, shortcuts, tips, and help with mobile printer connections and custom settings.<\/p>\n
