National Leadership Council
The National Leadership Council is comprised of dedicated alumni and friends who assist Maryville University in fulfilling its mission by:
- Providing expertise and counsel
- Serving as ambassadors to a diverse and global community; and
- Supporting strategic fundraising initiatives
Philippine Duchesne Society
The Philippine Duchesne Society is Maryville University’s most distinguished annual giving club. Recognizing donors who give annual gifts of $1,000 or more during one fiscal year (June 1 through May 31) to academic, co-curricular or athletic programs at Maryville. Duchesne Society gifts make possible: guest lectures, classroom and library resources, annual scholarships, student organizations, faculty and student research, campus initiatives and much more.
Established to serve alumni and promote Maryville University, the committee provides relevant and meaningful programs, communications and services for current and future alumni, and fosters lifelong participation and philanthropic support by alumni. A donation participation is required to be considered a member.
Trivia Night Committee
Maryville University Trivia Night, created in 2001 by the Young Alumni Advisory Committee, provides a venue to attract alumni and their family and friends to campus for a fun-filled, casual evening of competition, prizes and auction items, in support of alumni scholarship funds. The event has grown to now also support the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic with their proceeds.
Founded in 2001, this program informs members of their communities about the University and its philosophy and objectives, expanding awareness of Maryville University.
Class agents serve as class representatives and assist in communication about and between alumni and the University, in addition to helping gather class notes for Maryville Magazine.
Reunion committees provide the leadership for their five-year class reunions during Alumni Weekend, serving as liaisons between the classes and the alumni relations office.
