Alumni Find Success in Careers

Earning a degree from Maryville University has proven to be a great way to begin a successful professional career. Just ask two alumni who recently were promoted in their respective organizations.

Just last month, Intrepid USA Healthcare Services named Roberta “Bobi” Rose its Vice President of Clinical Services. She previously served as the company’s corporate Director of Clinical Operations since July of 2006. Rose has more than 22 years of clinical experience, including 13 in the home health sector. An expert in the development of clinical policies, procedures and practice guidelines in a variety of home care and hospice settings, she has additional experience in cardiovascular intensive care, hemodialysis and wound consultation.

Rose earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and certification in wound, ostomy and continence therapy from Emory University. She remains an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing; the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society; and has recently been named to the Briggs Corporation senior care advisory board.

“Bobi is a dedicated and talented professional and we are fortunate to have her as part of the Intrepid USA team,” said CEO Bill Simpson. “She brings extensive knowledge of home healthcare as well as significant expertise in developing clinical protocols, which will be essential for our company as we continue to grow and expand the services offered to our
patients.”

Located at 4055 Valley View Lane in Dallas, Intrepid USA provides home health care, supplemental staffing, independent living, rehabilitation and assisted living services. Intrepid employs more than 3,500 personnel nationwide and operates 104 locations in 22 states.

More recently, Mark Conrad, CPA, was promoted to manager in the Assurance Services Group at RubinBrown, one of Missouri’s most repected accounting and consulting firms.

Conrad graduated in 2002 and has been steadily gaining more high-level positions. In his new role, Conrad will primarily manage audit engagements for clients in manufacturing and distribution industries. He joined RubinBrown in 2003.
