177 Maryville Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-GLVC Honors

Men’s Soccer led Maryville with 21 GLVC All-Academic selections.

[St. Louis, Mo.] – Maryville University had 177 student-athletes earn Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Academic honors during for the 2014-15 academic year as announced by the GLVC office. The Academic All-GLVC honor is awarded to student-athletes who have completed two semesters at their institution and maintained a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average.

Maryville’s total of 177 student-athletes ranked fifth in the conference and trailed three schools that sponsor football. The men’s soccer team led the Saints with 21 selections, and the women’s soccer team was close behind with 20 honorees. Eight Saints squads had at least 10 student-athletes earn the honors. In addition, 13 Maryville student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 GPAs.
