Myrtle E. and Earl E. Walker Hall

A new home for the Maryville University College of Health Professions

Walker Hall came to life in January 2015 when classes and labs were opened to faculty and students to utilize for health profession and general studies. An official celebration and ribbon cutting with the university’s board of trustees and community is planned for May 15.

The College of Health Professions at Maryville University continues its reputation as a leader in preparing students for careers in Nursing, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Counseling. Through its professional programs, the College serves as a catalyst for change and improvements in the delivery of health care and human services in the community.

Teaching, research and learning environments today require 21st century facilities: open, highly flexible, technologically advanced spaces designed to inspire and facilitate fast-paced, interdisciplinary student work and engagement. Walker Hall is a natural part of this commitment, and the need for such a facility has never been so urgent.
