First Year Experience
The Center for Academic Success and First-Year Experience focuses on the successful transition of students into the Maryville community. Maryville has a comprehensive and integrated approach to assisting students in their academic, financial, and personal transition to Maryville. The Center for Academic Success and First-Year Experience has three primary goals: community, communication, and critical thinking. At the core of all of our programs and services are these three goals. We want Maryville students to become independent, creative, and analytical thinkers. For more information call 314.529.9477, email firstname.lastname@example.org , or stop by the Center for Academic Success and First-Year Experience in the University Library.
Residential Housing Association
RHA is here to provide a voice for our residential students at Maryville. If there are ever any concerns or suggestions about anything concerning the residence halls or apartments, it can be brought to this organization. RHA is also here to enhance campus living through programming, student support, and student leadership development. We plan some events on campus throughout each semester such as Float Away with RHA, Throwback Thursday, Bingo and Brew, and many more! Come be apart of RHA and make your living community great! Meetings are once a week and new members are always welcome and encouraged!

This program helps sophomores use this year to their full advantage by helping them plan their academic goals by working with staff outside of the classroom. Have a career in mind? This programs allows you to meet professionals in different fields and learn more about the skills you need to be a competitive candidate upon graduation.
