Where can I get academic help?

  • Peer Tutoring Program in the Center for  Academic Success and First Year Experience, University Library. To request a Peer Tutor, call 314-529-9228.

How and when will I get my grades?

  • Maryville delivers grades electronically to students online via the Access Maryville system. Students who need a printed grade report for reimbursement, scholarships, etc. can request an Official Grade Report using a form available from the Registrar's Office.

Where can I go to use a computer?

Where can I send and receive a fax?

The fax number for sending and receiving a fax is 314-529-9778. The fax machine is located in the Bookstore in the Donius University Center.

Send a Fax:

  • Local faxes: free of charge
  • local, long distance, and international faxes: 10 cents per page (includes cover sheet)

Receive a Fax:

  • 10 cents per page
  • Notify the Bookstore at 314-529-9438 if you are expecting a fax

Where can I make copies?

Multi-functional Devices (MFD's) are located in the Reid Computer Lab and the University Library for your printing and copying needs.  Prints/copies will be deducted from your print allotment by swiping your OneCard.  Copies can also be made in the Bookstore located in the Donius University Center.

Where can I send mail and buy stamps?

The Bookstore is the receiving point for all U.S. Postal Service mail and other deliveries for the entire campus. The Bookstore is located in Donius University Center; 314-529-9323. 

  • Services: purchase stamps, send mail, and ship packages worldwide.
  • Faculty, staff and departmental mail can be dropped off and/or picked up in the Bookstore.

Where can I work out on campus?

  • The Maryville University fitness center is located in John E. and Adaline Simon Athletic Center. The center is open free of charge to all students, faculty and staff with a current Maryville OneCard (ID card).
  • Fall/Spring hours:
    • Sunday - Thursday:  6 a.m. - midnight
      Friday:   6 a.m. - 10 p.m
      Saturday:   9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

How long are buildings open to students during the week and on weekends?

  • Donius University Center and Simon Center remain open until midnight.
  • The Buder Family Student Commons is open on a 24-hour basis, seven days per week.
  • Most other University buildings close at 10 p.m., except for special events.

Where are student lockers located and how can I get one?

  • Lockers are available on campus in three locations: on the ground floor of Kernaghan Hall; in Donius University Center, between the front entrance and the Center for Student Engagement; and in the Auditorium on the classroom level.

  • A lock and locker assignment can be obtained from the Public Safety Office in Duchesne Hall Lobby; 314-529-9500.

Is there an ATM on campus?

  • Yes, a Commerce Bank ATM is located in Donius University Center between the Campus Café and University Bookstore.

Where can I cash a check?

  • Personal checks up to $25 maximum per day can be cashed in University Bookstore, located in Donius University Center. Your Maryville OneCard is required for identification.

Where can I get money changed?

  • Student Service Center located in Gander Hall, Room 144.
  • There is a change machine located in Duchesne Hall lobby. Foreign currency cannot be changed.

Can I get a safety escort?

  • Public Safety officers are available anytime to provide an escort to anywhere on campus 314-529-9500. Call 911 for emergencies.
  • The blue lights around campus indicate a phone for direct assistance to Public Safety.

How do I report a crime?

  • Contact Public Safety located in Duchesne Hall lobby, 314-529-9500. Call 911 for emergencies.

What if I lose my student ID?

  • Another ID can be made in the Public Safety office, (Duchesne Hall lobby). The replacement cost is $10.

Where can I get a campus map?

  • See Campus Map online or pick one up from the literature rack located just outside the Student Life Office/Student Involvement Office, Donius University Center, Suite 102.

How do I handle a traffic citation from Public Safety?

  • All citations must be paid in the Student Service Center located in Gander Hall. Fines may be paid by mail by sending a check to Maryville University, c/o Student Service Center, 650 Maryville University Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141. Checks should be made payable to Maryville University.
  • Appeals must be submitted to the Director of Public Safety within seven (7) business days of receiving the citation.

Does Maryville offer career services?

  • Yes, the Career Education office provides students and alumni access to internship, full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Career counseling is available for students who need to declare a major and for students who want to learn how to set appropriate career goals. Assistance with resume writing, interview preparation and job search is also available. Most services are free.

How do I get involved if I don't live on campus?

  • There are plenty of opportunities for commuter students to be involved on campus!
    • Check out the weekly What's Happening at Maryville (WHAM) calendar. With over 200 events sponsored by student organizations each year, you're sure to find something interesting to do! Most events are free to Maryville University students.
