One Book, One Community

The Kite Runner

Join the University Library and the Office of Multicultural Programs and the entire campus community in an engaging and thought-provoking series of discussions on a different book each year. This year Maryville Reads... The Kite Runner. The first Afgan novel to be written in English, The Kite Runner tells the sweeping story of family, love, and friendship against a backdrop of history that has not been told in fiction before. Both emotionally exhausting and tender at the same time, The Kite Runner is an unusual yet powerful story. Don't forget to check out the Reading Guide.
