Maryville University’s Board of Trustees recently authorized several promotions of university faculty members. Promotions are effective for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The following faculty members were promoted to the rank of professor: Joni Barry, DPT, physical therapy; Kent Bausman, PhD, sociology; Elizabeth Buck, PhD, assistant dean for nursing/director of online nursing; and Konrad Dias, DPT, physical therapy.

The following faculty members were promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure status: Scott Angus, MFA, art; Gabriel Colbeck, PhD, biology; Stacy Donovan, PhD, biology; Kyra Krakos, PhD, biology; and Rachel Rose, PhD, physical therapy. 

“This group of faculty is representative of our outstanding faculty,” said Mary Ellen Finch, PhD, vice president for academic affairs. “They have worked hard for their promotions and we are proud of them.”
