Maryville Symphony Orchestra’s “Gift of Music”

Maryville Symphony Orchestra will perform classical music of the season during their “Gift of Music” concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 13765 Olive Boulevard, in Chesterfield.

The opening piece, titled “Christmas Jubilee Overture,” was composed by Davis Brown, JD, assistant professor of political science at Maryville.

MSO serves the community through performing the best in classical orchestral and chamber music. The orchestra’s purpose is to encourage interest in audiences to actively attend and support live classical music, and to offer a professional environment for both amateur and professional performers. MSO practices and performs at Maryville University.
