Other Collections

  • Reserve Collection-Kept behind the Circulation Desk, this includes both materials owned by the library and set aside for special use, as well as materials belonging to individual faculty members who wish to make them available for their particular classes. Course reserve items are assigned a reserve number, which may be looked up in the online catalog. See the Fines Policy for information about reserve overdue fines.

Faculty wishing to place materials on reserve should submit the Reserve Request Form (MS Word) with the reserve items themselves, to the Circulation Desk staff.

The library now offers faculty the option of placing items on electronic reserve, through the Library's Catalog system. Please see the Circulation Staff for details.

The Library requires that reserve requests comply with current copyright law (MS Word).

Most of these materials are in the A/V collection on the shelves past the Reference Collection. Audio CDs are located in a separate case in the area. Related equipment is located nearby.
