Registration Now Open!
The mission of the New Student Orientation program is to welcome and include new students into all aspects of the Maryville University community: academically, communally, professionally, socially and spiritually. The full weekend program provides new students with opportunities to meet new and returning students in their major, University Seminar classmates and instructor (first-year students only), as well as other members of the Maryville community during information sessions, interactive activities, and evening entertainment. You don’t want to miss out on any part of Orientation!

2013 New Student Orientation
For First-Year Students
Residents: Thursday, August 22-Sunday, August 25
*Residential students will move-in on Thursday, August 22nd
Commuters: Friday, August 23-Sunday, August 25
For Transfer Students
Option 1: Tuesday, August 20 from 11:15 am-4:00 pm
This session is designed specifically for transfer students who want basic information in a brief, informal setting.
*Move-In will be Thursday, August 22rd.
Option 2: Friday, August 23 – Sunday, August 25
This full weekend program will provide commuter and residential students with opportunities to explore campus life, meet faculty and staff in your academic school, and develop new friendships.
Option 3: Tuesday, August 20 AND Friday, August 23-Sunday, August 25
By participating in both Options 1 and 2, transfer students will benefit from information sessions, social gatherings and campus explorations.
