American Idol Winner David Cook to Perform
[St. Louis, Mo.] – Singer-songwriter David Cook, who won the seventh season of the reality television show, “American Idol,” will perform at Maryville University on Tuesday, April 22, in Moloney Arena. Cook’s first album, titled, “David Cook,” has been certified platinum; his second major album is titled, “This Loud Morning.”
Doors open at 7 p.m.; the pop-rock band, Colour of London, will open the show.
Cook’s performance is expected to draw a record-breaking audience for a live performance at Maryville. Tickets are free to Maryville University students, faculty, and staff; $20 for all others. Tickets are available online here, and will also be available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. at the door.
