Concert of Instrumental and Vocal Chamber Music

The Music at Maryville concert series season continues at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28, in the University Auditorium. The performance features instrumental and vocal chamber music performed by
David Halen on violin, Savely Schuster on cello, Miran Halen, soprano
and Katja Georgieff on piano. The composition is Piano Trio by
the classic romantic Russian composer, Alexander Aljabiew.
Katja Georgieff, professor emeritus at Maryville, is artistic director of Music at Maryville.
Admission is $5 for seniors; free for students; $10 all others.
The final Music at Maryville concert of the 2009-2010 season will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, in the University Auditorium. In a special piano recital, internationally-renowned artist Claude Frank, professor at Yale University and Curtis Institute, will perform works by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.
