In 2010, Maryville University joined the Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence (NPEIV). In addition, the Maryville Coalition to End Interpersonal Violence was launched to partner Maryville University faculty, staff, and students with a multitude of diverse St. Louis community partners dedicated to the issue of interpersonal violence.

Mission Statement

The Maryville Coalition to End Interpersonal violence is committed to achieving the following goals:

  • obtain and organize information about individuals and groups on campus and in the community committed to the issue of interpersonal violence
  • obtain, organize and distribute information about upcoming educational and fund raising events
  • seek and obtain funding support for evens and activities
  • promote events and work to engage participation by those on campus and in the community
  • connecting students with related internship and volunteer opportunities in the community
  • support Maryville’s participation in the National Partnership
