Accounting Information Systems – Careers

What Can I Do With An Accounting Information Systems Degree?

The job growth rate for the field of accounting is expected to grow about 10 percent by 2026. The average salary for the occupation in 2012 was $68,150. Accountants who earn certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure, improve their job prospects.

To be eligible for the CPA Examination in Missouri and many other states, candidates are required to complete 150 credit hours of college level coursework. To satisfy the 150-hour requirement, Maryville offers dual degrees in Accounting and Accounting Systems and Forensics.
