Eric Delabar

Head Coach

Eric Delabar enters his 13th season as the head women's soccer coach at Maryville University. He joined the Saints in 1999 and since has led them to a 128-95-12 overall record in 12 years.

In just his first year at the helm of the Saints program, Delabar led the women to a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) tournament and regular season championship. It was also the first time in the history of the program that they received a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

In 2002, Delabar took over the Maryville men's soccer program and coached them to a 33-73-6 (.321) record in six seasons.

Delabar also coached Maryville's first GLVC (Great Lakes Valley Conference) All-Conference selection as Lauren Dieckmann was named Third-team All-GLVC in 2009, the first year Maryville competed in this conference.

Delabar, who is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), brings a vast amount of coaching and playing experience to Maryville. He holds a USSF National "A" coaching license and has also served as an assistant soccer coach at Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis University. At the high school level he was the head boy's soccer coach at Fort Zumwalt North High School from 1989-98 and has continued to serve as the head girl's soccer coach since 1992.

As a student-athlete at Quincy University, Delabar earned All-American honors at goalkeeper, while also helping lead the Hawks to three National Championships. He graduated from Quincy in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in History.

Upon graduating, Delabar extended his playing career to the professional level with both the New York Cosmos and the St. Louis Steamers.

In 1989, Delabar was inducted into the Quincy University Athletic Hall of Fame, and more recently he was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Soccer Hall of Fame.

In the off-season Delabar acts as director of the Maryville Saints Soccer Camps, while also holding a separate goalkeeper's camp.

Delabar is a Physical Education teacher at South Middle School in the Fort Zumwalt School District. He and his wife, Alicia, have three children - Mike, Amanda and Anna.


Joel Roschnafsky

Assistant Coach

Joel Roschnafsky enters his eighth year as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team and his ninth year overall with the Saints soccer program.

Roschnafsky was a three-year starter for the Saints and was a member of the 1998 St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference (SLIAC) championship team. He was named Second-team All-SLIAC in 1998 and Honorable Mention All-SLIAC in 1999.

He graduated with honors with a master's degree in Physical Therapy. In addition to coaching at Maryville, Roschnafsky serves as a staff coach for Stop the Shot goalkeeper camps and as a staff coach for the Maryville University Saints soccer camps.

Roschnafsky holds a United States Soccer Federation "D" License.

He currently serves as the Clinical Director of PRORehab-Des Peres and resides in Webster Groves, Mo.


Lauren Dieckmann

Volunteer Assistant Coach

Lauren Dieckmann enters her second season as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's soccer program after playing four-years for the Saints.

She played in 71 games as a defender and was a three-time First-team All-SLIAC selection and was Maryville's first student-athlete to be named All-GLVC. Dieckmann was a Third-team All-GLVC honoree at defense in her senior season.

She has 19 career points and eight career goals.


Carrie Twellman

Graduate Assistant

Carrie Twellman enters her third season as a graduate assistant with the Maryville women's soccer team.

Twellman played soccer at the University of Central Missouri. She was a three-time First-team All-MIAA selection, Third-team All-Region honoree in 2005, Honorable Mention All-American in 2005, two-time Second-team All-Region selection and two-time team captain.

Twellman earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from the University of Central Missouri in December 2009.

Andrew Buelow

Graduate Assistant

Andrew Buelow enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the women's soccer program.

He was a four-year member of the Saints' men's soccer team and played in 69 games as a defender.
