Women's Basketball to Host Free Throw-A-Thon Contest
· WHEN: 6:30PM SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23-THE MARYVILLE BASKETBALL MOONLIGHT MADNESS NIGHT!
· WHERE: MARYVILLE UNIVERSITY SIMON CENTER MALONEY ARENA-HOME OF SAINTS BASKETBALL!
· WHO: MARYVILLE STUDENTS, FACULTY, ALUMNI & FRIENDS
· WHY: "FUNRAISING," Additional recognition for our MU BB Programs, increased attendance/fan participation at Moonlight Madness & "Why NOT?"
· HOW: INTERESTED APPLICANTS CAN SIGN UP ONLINE OR AT THE DOOR
o $10 for Faculty, Alumni & Adults; $5 for Students & Youth Divisions
o Four Divisions set up for Faculty/Alumni/Adults, Collegians (Students), Youth (11-17), & 10 and Under (12 foot line)
o 4 to 6 baskets are used if necessary
o Each Contestant gets 25 Free Throws
o Top 4 & Ties from Each Division Shoot 20 More
o Top 2 From each division Advance to Finals & Shoot an additional 10; ties is "extra inning-elimination format) with scoreboard tally for public to see
o Winner is most makes out of 10
· Maryville Basketball Players will Umpire & Record all Results
· Certificates for all Contestants; T Shirts &/or Trophies for Division Champions
