Men's Cross Country Season in Review
ST. LOUIS—Under second-year head coach Micky Kaufman, the Maryville University men's cross country team competed in six meets this season.
Sophomore Travis Matthews (Cape Girardeau, Mo.) was the top Saints finisher at four of the meets and set a school record with his 6K time of 20:08.8 at the Hokie Open on Nov. 6.
Freshman Nolan Bevirt (St. Louis) was the top finisher at the other two meets and added his name to the program's list of Top Ten All-time Best Times in the 6K at the WashU Early Bird and Hokie Open.
As a team, Maryville's best finish occurred at its own invitational as it finished in fourth place.
