Micky Kaufman

Head Coach

Micky Kaufman begins his first season as the head coach of the men's and women's cross country programs.

Kaufman takes over two programs that have struggled to field a full team in the past few years, but both squads have enjoyed success in the past.

Kaufman has served as an assistant coach for the track and cross country programs at Northwest Missouri State University for the past two years. While at Northwest Missouri State he oversaw the fall conditioning program for the track and field squad, and he coached two NCAA All-Americans in the high jump and triple jump. In addition, Kaufman gained tremendous experience in both recruiting and fundraising.

Kaufman's other coaching experience includes four years as the distance/javelin coach with the Bellevue Breeze Summer Track Club and one year as an assistant track coach at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Kaufman earned his Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education and Health from Graceland University in 2006. He is currently working on his Master of Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletics Administration at Northwest Missouri State.
